The Concept of Orientalism and Its Influence on English Romantic Literature

Abstract

The scientific article tries to give an analysis to the origin of the copcept of “Orientalism”, its first appearance and influence on English Romantic literature. Orientalism has a great deal of contribution in the development of English Romantic movement. It deals with eastern culture and literature, legends, tales or novels that had widely prospered during the eighteenth and nineteenth century. It is worthy to say that there is a great role of the translation of the “The Arabian Nights' Entertainment” into English.
