Abstract
The study focused on reasons of development of insurgency in Nagaland. The study is also on political, social and economic conditions of the Nagas, the initiation of development remains a question and the living standard of the Naga people cannot go up due to insurgency. The Naga insurgency has led the growth of more insurgency in Northeast India; the role of China, Pakistan and other countries in helping this insurgentsituation has been continuing till today.
