Abstract
This study was conducted to examine the gender differences in academic stress, perceived democratic, autocratic, accepting and rejecting parenting styles and self concept of the adolescents of Punjab. A total of 1070 adolescents participated in the study and filled the questionnaires of academic stress, perceived democratic, autocratic,accepting and rejecting parenting styles, coping strategies and self concept.
