Abstract

The main importance of the criminal law is to protect the society from the law breakersand punishthe accused. In our country the criminal justice system is not restricted to one field of law. It ranges from media, Human rights, Information technology, Right to information, Intellectual property etc. The researcher tries to emphasis on the problem along with the probable solution which the practioner and the judiciary is facing in the criminal justice system. The role and the responsibilities of the prosecutor and defence council considers as a role and the responsibility of the prosection agencies in Indian criminal justice justice which carry the herculan task of the criminal prosecution and help the court to deliver speedy justice.
