Abstract
This paper brings out the role of Muslim Legislators in the empowerment of the marginalised sections in Tamil Nadu.It sums up the part played by Muslims as M.L.As, M.L.Cs and as Ministers in their involvement on the larger interests for the wellbeing of the State and its people. It analyses their activities towards striving for the common good of the people. it also assays the efforts, involvement and contribution of these Legislators towards the empowerment of the marginalised, irrespective of caste, creed or community. Further it explains the efforts they had taken in bringing about a change towards the development among the marginalised sections of the state.
