Abstract
Women are given equal rights as per Constitution of India. This paper describes how women law had evolved and underwent changes for enhancing safeguard of women. The family law is explained from the perspective of women law. It is evident from this study that Government of India supported and created a better for women in the society. It is understood that knowledge of women laws and family laws is important for people in the society.
