Abstract
The term Total Quality Management (TQM) has been applied to business and industry for quite long time. Recently, this has been introduced and being implemented in educational institutions to provide high quality and standards for dissemination of quality education. TQM in education is "a philosophy, supported by a comprehensive toolkit, driven by students and staff, in order to identify, analyze and remove the barriers to learning" (Davies & West-Burnham, 1997).
