Abstract
A study on BUDGETING AND BUDGETARY CONTROL is one of the leading port Services companies, offering a wide range of portal services such as cargo handling and providing containers for importing and exporting of goods. The Data collected for the study were both primary and secondary data, the primary data collected from the observation in the finance department of the company and the secondary data collected from the annual report, and internet for the study. The type of research adopted for the project was analytical research. The main objective of the study is income and expenditure analysis, which will prove essential for ascertaining past and present financial position of the study. The tool which was used for the data analysis and interpretation is: comparative statement, trend analysis, Chi-square Analysis, cash budget, least square method.
