Abstract
The present paper focuses on the provision, legal status, powers, functions, role, responsibilities and composition of managing committees which operate and run government-aided schools that fall under the administrative control of Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi. Managing Committee may be defined as such a constituted group of people and a well-organized committee which looks after the whole management of a government-aided school.
