Abstract
The BJP has become successful in enduring its victory in Assam despite being criticized for its stand on Citizenship Amendment Bill. The party leadership both at the Centre and the state could successful in neutralizing the issue. While AGP-BJP-BPF alliance helped the party to win 2019 elections, the organizational machinery of the party and the populist schemes introduced by the BJP Government has gone in favor of the party.
