Abstract
Water is essential for all living beings and hence called the elixir of life.Being one of the scarce resources it is the duty of us all to use the resource conservatively and find out the innovative ways of recycling and reusing the resources to ensure that our next generation is also getting the taste of elixir. Though water is scarce, we can't deny the fact that many processing industries need a large quantity of water to carry on their day to day activities and Rubber industries is one of its kind. Kasargod Latex Factory is one such factory located in Kasargod district of Kerala which utilizes a large quantity of water for their rubber processing units but successfully implemented the innovative recycling methods to convert the wastewater into a usable resource.
