Abstract
This paper mainly focused on sexual harassment and self confidence of women on health sector. The glass ceiling is the main factor to affect the women career development. Workers who are working in general hospital in Cuddalore, they are considered as the population for this study. Descriptive research is applied. Questionnaire is considered as a research tool. A sample of 100 staffs was selected as a sample size. Sample respondents were selected based on purposive sampling technique. Self confidence and sexual Harassment factors are taken as independent variable and women career development is taken as a dependent variable. Both variables are measured in the 5 point scale. Correlation and regression analysis was applied. It is found that self confidence and sexual harassment has positive effect on women career development.
