Abstract
The present investigation was conducted to assess the relationship between Emotional Intelligence and life satisfaction among youth. Ninety (90) youth (male: 55, female: 35) were selected by convenient sampling technique from different colleges of Shirpur, Dist.Dhule. The age range of the participants was 17 to 27 years. Emotional intelligence scores were compared with life satisfaction scores. Pearson's correlation and t-test were used for statistical analysis. The results showed that emotional intelligence and life satisfaction were positively correlated and significant. Males showed high life satisfaction than females p<0.01 and females were emotionally intelligent than males as p<0.01
