Experimental Investigation of Process Parameters on Mechanical Properties of Aluminum Alloy Sand Cast Product

Abstract

Sand casting had become one of the most extensively used casting processes in the manufacturing environment, due its ability to produce wide variety of ferrous and non ferrous components in order to meet customers’ needs and satisfaction. Globally, there is a lot of casting techniques, including sand casting. Over the 70% of castings are processed by sand casting only and the remaining are equally shared by remaining casting processes.
