Abstract
As the field of Massive Open Online Courses(MOOCs) is a very nascent area, it has lot of potential and challenges. There are not many Indian originated MOOC platforms except NPTEL, SWAYAM which are available, and the major research gap in the literature available on Indian MOOCs is absence of any validated framework which could reduce the dropout rate and improve the completion rate of Indian MOOC platforms. Literature review reveals that most of researchers have discussed about the various MOOC models, their inception, course wise.
