Abstract
Drought is a major stress factor for plants leading to detrimental effects on the growth and yield of plants. As a consequence of drought stress, plants normal equilibrium get disturbed thereby leading to the host of changes at physiological and biochemical level. Monoamine oxidases (MAOs) are known to limit ROS under different stress perturbations, but research showing how boiling stable MAOs is regulated under drought is still a matter of conjuncture.
