Abstract
This study aims to achieve immobilization of catalase enzyme onto the egg shell powder through adsorption method. Catalytic activity of catalase immobilized on egg shell matrix has been investigated by means of UV- spectrophotometer. Optimum pH and temperature of both soluble and bound catalase were observed. Under selected experimental conditions stability, reusability, temperature and pH sensitivity of native and immobilized catalase has been compared.
