Abstract

Fish and aquatic products are important source of animal protein for human which is fifth largest agricultural resource of world and shares 7.5% total world food production. Fish farming is an integration of selection of economical combination of varieties and effective fish farm management which serves as alternative way to utilize aquatic resources for nutritional security and economic development and also serves the purpose of biodiversity conservation. Feed is a largest input for fish production so there is need of more scientific research on the feed requirement of various types of fishes.
