Abstract
The journey of Indian federal system right from Nehruvian period to present time of Modi Government has witnesed a lot of changes, which more or less has significantly impacted our foreign policy too. Nevertheless since 1970’s Indian federalism started witnessing coalition based politics. And apart from Coalition, regional state politics are also other dimensions which more or less have been affected our foreign policy. This in turn have seriously affected our geopolitical and geostrategic interests.
