Abstract

The current article deals with study of organizational climate in Ethiopian higher education institution in some selected public universities. In today’s competitive world, organizational climate is considered as a key factor for success, survival, and sustainability of organizations. So far, literature has recognized various factors that organizational climate in service in organizations. This research has been conducted to analyze the organizational climate of academic staff in Ethiopian higher learning institutions. Methodologically, this research follows quantitative research method and explanatory research in nature written deductively. The primary data collection (questionnaire (n=301)) was mainly used in this study to come with conclusion. Both SPSS and AMOS were used for data analyses. Organizational climate includes autonomy, organizational trust, team work, reward and recognition, and organizational support. Conclusions and recommendations were scientifically given and future implications for the coming researchers were forwarded.
