Abstract
This paper briefly reviews existing evidences concerning early intervention for intellectual disability. Current evidences concerning the use and effectiveness of early interventions for
children with intellectual disabilities. The purpose of this review was to assess critically the evidence on effectiveness of early intervention for child with intellectual disabilities. Overall, however positive changes were seen in the development of children who are exposed to early intervention programs. Children with intellectual disability and their families are likely to benefit from early intervention.
