Abstract
This research was a comparative study between 104 nicotine dependent and106 non- nicotine dependent adults on sub-scales of Stress. Nicotine Dependence was measured using by using the Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Depend0ence. In order to identify the sample for nicotine dependence Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence was used and a criterion was set. For, that purpose individuals obtaining a score of 5 and above on the scale were selected in the group for nicotine dependence. Non-Nicotine dependent were defined as those who have never smoked in their lifetime.
