Abstract
The educational institution is the place where the children can get education. In these institution teachers are enrolled to provide education for kids who falling to the age limit of six to fourteen years. Students have been come here to get education to make their future brighter and fulfill their dreams. The development of nation is possible only through the education and it is a very long process of learning which never ends in the whole life. Through education people can live with dignity in the society. It inbuilt the skills in the individual and make them productive in the growth of the nation. This paper is divided into two past to observe the education system in India. In initially we describe the pre independence system of education and in the next phase post independence system of education.
