Abstract
Corrosion is an uncontrollable and ever persisting process which affects the physical properties of metals and their alloys. Due to the toxic behavior of corrosion inhibitors containing substances like chromate inhibitors, there is increasing in demand for the utilization of eco-friendly and biodegradable inhibitors, which comes out to be green corrosion inhibitors. The present review article in accordance on green corrosion inhibitors, aims for illustrating the use of weeds extracts for metallic corrosion inhibition by examining the inhibiting properties of numerous weeds extract, especially for mild steel and its surface.
