Abstract
Effect of mutagenesis on seed germination in two different varieties of Cicer arietinum
L. was studied. Varied concentrations of chemical mutagens viz. Ethyl Methane Sulfonate
(EMS) 0.05%, 0.10%, 0.15% and Sodium Azide (SA) 0.01%, 0.02% and 0.03% were used.
