Abstract

Proper growth stage of crop is an important parameter for precision agriculture. It gives accurate result and evaluation of yield for agriculture management system. Mostly the observation of crop in different growth stages mainly relies in manual form at present. Time consuming, less accurate results, non-continuous are some limitations in manual form. Internet of things and smart sensors can help to alleviate these problems. This paper presents an efficient agriculture decision based system for increasing the crops growth. The proposed agriculture monitoring system collects surrounding natural changes and soil characterises on the farm through wireless sensor network based environmental and soil sensors, congregatedata through Zigbee Coordinator device in different locations of farm and send data to cloud through ESP8266 Module. Moreover received data from field is converted into a database and stored in cloud servers for further analysis.
