Abstract

Fourteen cultivars of tuberose (Polianthestuberosa L.) were assessed for valuation of different variability parameters and genetic diversity analysis atthe Horticultural Research Station, BCKV, West Bengal. All the traits comprised offlowering, growth and yield attributingcharactershowing the existence of substantial morphological variation and diversity among the genotypes. High heritability value coupled with high GA percentage over mean was observed in maximum character showing additive gene action. Leastchangevalue between PCV and GCVwere recorded forentiretraitssignifying less influence of environment on those characters. The fourteen cultivars could be clustered into five groups.
