Abstract
Punjab has been traditionally associated with low Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and Human Development Index (HDI).In this Research Paper, the main objective is to find out the role of Punjab Gramin Bank in the implementation of the DAY-NRLM/NULM Scheme in Amritsar district from from year 2015 to 2018. For the purpose, secondary data from the bank itself was collected. Data has been made available from 28 different branches of Punjab Gramin Bank spread over the 9 different blocks of Amritsar. Statistics were compiled using SPSS software version 20 in which One way Annova test has been used to test whether there exist any significant differences in the credit disbursed by Punjab Gramin Bank in part three years in Amritsar District.
