Abstract
The catch word of every organization, the decision-making tool of every industrial organization, is the basis of all hypotheses in today's world is nothing but data. Sources of data are everywhere, from a smart phone secretly in our pocket to satellites thousands of kilometers above our heads. The importance of Big Data is made clear by industrial giants like Mr. MukeshAmbani who in his address to share holders clearly stated that "data is the new oil".There is no one who can negate importance of data in today’s world, Mr. Narayan Murthy Of Infosys once reiterated that he believes in only two things, one is God and the other is Data.In 2012, the Harvard Business Review made a splash by marking the data scientist as the sexiest job of the 21st century. Data science has become an emerging profession and one that predicts that it needs business.Access to information has become so easy and convenient that we are falling into the trap of fast decision making which may not be beneficial for us in the long run. No body has bothered to check the authenticity of data available and we are taking biased decisions on the pretext of providing productivity and efficiency to the organization.
