Abstract
See-through thin film of ZnO is deposited onto alkali-free glass substrates by using spin coating method. Surface morphology of the films was investigated by using SEM. The crystallinity and imperfections are calculated with diffraction plots. The study of band gap is investigated by spectrophotometer.The optical spectra observed in the range 200 – 800 nm showed a very good transmittance above 90%. SEM images showed the wrinkles like structure of thin films. The band gap of the prepared films is calculated for optical applications.
