Abstract

Recently green synthesis of nanoparticles have gained a lot of attention on account of its eco friendly nature. Zinc Oxide nanoparticles have been synthesised using leaf extract of Polyalthia longifolia. Prepared particles were characterised using various techniques like SEM, XRD, FTIR. Measurement of particle dimension and surface morphology was studied using the SEM technique. X-Ray diffraction confirmed the crystallinity and amorphicity of the particles. Particle dimension were further confirmed using XRD. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy was used to study the presence of any type of impurity if present in the prepared sample.
