Abstract

Privatization of formal instruction in India isn't new; it existed even before independence as alleged state funded schools (like Doon School, Mayo School) and Christian preacher schools and universities. They used to be controlled by leading body of executives absent a lot of obstruction by the legislature. After independence, there was a development of training.

Central and state governments both took activities to build up state-possessed or government-helped schools. Teachers at all levels have their pay rates determined as indicated by national or state wage scales.  The current paper highlights the privatization of education in India.
