The Delphi research method and expert opinion surveys are widely employed techniques in various fields to elicit, aggregate, and refine expert knowledge on complex issues or future scenarios. This paper provides an overview and explanation of the Delphi method, tracing its historical development, key characteristics, and procedural steps.
