Abstract
Sivaganga District was a part of old Ramanathapuram District.The Sethupathy of Ramanathapuram lost his personal freedom and the British took control of the administration of Ramanathapuram in 1795.This district is covering an extent of 4189 sq.km, and consists of 521 revenue villages.People at risk are those who have come from a cooler climate to a hot climate. You may have such a person(s) visiting your family during the heat wave season.The District Human Development Report of Sivaganga district has made an attempt to analyze and understand the status of the human development in the various blocks of the district.
