Abstract
The distribution of health care provision of primary care physicians or family physicians has many benefits. But the standard of primary health care delivery in India is limited and poor. One such variable is quality of care, and collaboration between public health institutions and state health facilities could go lengthy route towards solving quality deficiencies. This will help patients determine to avoid the need for costly therapy and bring long-term care. In this regard, this study explores employee engagement, emotional labor, cultural competence and infrastructure as factors affecting quality of care in primary health care system. The findings of the study suggest that all the factors have positive correlationship and impacts on quality of care. Employee engagement is the greatest predictor of quality of care among them.
