Abstract

The objectives of the study are to highlight the impact of Good Governance on CSR practices, to develop the conceptual model of CSR process, to access the impact of Government Process Re-engineering and e- Governance on CSR and to disseminate the information regarding voluntarily participation of the companies in different areas of CSR. The study is exploratory in nature in which new dimensions of CSR have been explored and it depicts the recent trends made in the CSR. It has been observed that companies are keenly showing interest in the Government programs and projects that reflect the ideology of Good Governance. This paper has also given valuable insights into developing the conceptual model of CSR process through which the plan, proposal and evaluation of the CSR has to carried out in a more efficient manner.  The companies were found to be voluntarily participated in the Government projects and would help in making the system more transparent, ethical, responsible and responsive to the citizens of India. The industry has also shown interest in the reform measures undertaken by the government.
