Abstract
The present paper investigates the development of the small scale industries in Raichur city. The study is based on secondary data sources. The study analyses nature of industries in the area and assistance by promotional agencies especially Karnataka state Finance Corporation, and projects cleared by single window agencies in promoting small industrialisation and subsidies sickness of small industries in the area.
