Abstract

The 4cs- critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity are the basic skills that all students need in the 21st century.  Additionally, technology is constantly emerging around us.And expected to be a part of every student's learning experience. When we talk about technology in teaching and learning the word ‘integration’ is used. Technology being a part of our everyday lives it is time to rethink the idea of integrating technology into the curriculum and aim to embedded technology into teaching to support the classroom teaching through creating opportunities for learners to complete assignments on the computer rather than normal pencil and paper. Technology has improved rapidly in recent years and this improvement is affecting the field of education as it is in every field. Traditional methods have become inadequate as the technology is changing students. Using technology in the classroom enable teachers and students to find new conclusion to meet daily life challenges. It is through knowing the language of others that we can truly understand how they view the world. The rapidly changing technological landscape has put students and teachers in the cross- hairs. The world is dominated by technology in all forms and in order to be successful student must possess in 21st century.  Research shows that today’s digital students learn more when engaged in meaningful, relevant, and intellectuality and stimulating.  And this is what makes the language student a 21st century skilled learner.
