Abstract
This paper gives some information about Corpus linguistics and its prospects. We are using corpus analysis software called AntConc to process the corpus data. In general, this program is used to analyze text to find a certain pattern in language. Corpus linguistics is a study of language that includes all processes related to processing, usage, and analysis of written or spoken machine-readable corpora. This report will explain the steps of processing the data with this software. We analyzed the famous Uzbek writer Said Ahmad’s three stories “Sarob”, “Qishdan qolgan qarg’alar” and “Azroil” with the help of free software AntConc.
