Abstract
— In India large population is mainly belong to rural areas which depend on ground water for their drinking purpose. The fluoride concentration in ground water varies from place to place. The data show that the fluoride distribution in ground water varies from 0.01mg/l to 48 mg/l [2] therefore it is require to observe defluoridation by cheap and easy method. Adsorption procedure is worth for its ease of operation, High productivity for fluoride removal and can remove up to 90% fluoride.. Adsorption procedures include the water’s entry through a contact bed where fluoride is removed by ion exchange or surface chemical reaction with the solid bed matrix. Adsorption technique is efficient and can remove ions over an extensive variety of pH to a lower leftover concentration than
