Abstract

Emma talks about the importance of nuptials for indigent women. This novel was written by Jane Austen who was born on 1775, and she was also an unmarried girl who was born for a clergy man. Some of her important works are Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield. This novel talks about the concept of marriage which has been a backbone for indigent women and also a profession for wealthy women. Here Jane Austen has portrayed Emma to be the protagonist of the novel who works as a matchmaker; according to her a wealthy women need not have a partner because for her which she has gained might be a perfect life partner to care her. This topic announces how a marriage is needed for women besides her social status.
