About the Seminar

The speed at which the world is changing is causing disruption in almost every industry and education is no exception. These disruptions in education are creating opportunities as well as challenges, which needs to be adopted based on current and future needs. Policy makers and Educators have understood and accepted these challenges and adopted educational policies and strategies from time to time. The National Education Policy 2019 also envisions an India-centred education system that contributes directly to transforming our nation sustainably into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society, by providing high quality education to all. Such ambitious goals will require the entire education eco-system to be reconfigured based on collaborated efforts of all stakeholder (Teacher Educators, Child, Government, etc.) of society. There is a need to understand the current challenges of education to meet the educational goals we have set for our future. The solutions for these diverse challenges in Indian education, needs to come from the active participation of those involved in the process of executing these policies and strategies. We therefore invite you to contribute with your conceptual papers and research papers on

About Thakur Shyamnarayan College of Education & Research (TSCER)

TSCER established in 2008, is part of, Thakur Educational Trust (Estd. 1990) with a broad objective of lending a helping hand towards the welfare of the society and is one of the most trusted names affiliated to University of Mumbai. The TSCER is humbly proud of its student's excellence in academics as well as co-curricular activities from the past 11 years. The management and the staff of the TSCER persistently put their best efforts for the constant growth of their students. Apart from the academic and co-curricular activities, the institution provides opportunities to the students to participate in intercollegiate events and to be well-versed in organizing various events. This is the 12th Annual seminar in line with our tradition of organising seminar on various contemporary themes for its student-teachers as well as for the participants from the various educational institutions across the country.
