Abstract

Millennials are the adults between the ages of 16 and 35 yrs. A driving growth for travel has been observed in this generation. But they preferred to use technology for using the services. The purpose of this paper is to understand preference of age group between 18 to 30 for booking their travel, to understand factors influencing the selection of online booking platform, to find out impact of social media for their booking. The study will also throw light on the impact of fraud (unethical practices) on their purchase and repurchase behaviour. Data collected from the respondents has shown that there is requirement of close observation on the complete value chain. Students are not only using online portals, but they are influencing others by posting on social media.
