Abstract
A harmful disease that is caused due to the abnormal growth of tissues on the brain to generate an intracranial mass is called brain tumor. Based on its type which can be either benign or malignant, the brain tumor can be identified in a human body. Malignant is cancerous kind of tumor whereas benign is non-cancerous. There are a number of learning classifiers such as support vector machine (SVM), k- nearest neighbor KNN, artificial neural network (ANN), Hidden Markov Model (HMM), Probabilistic Neural Network (PNN)& k-means Classification approach.
