Abstract
For agrarians pulses have been their second choice to grow. Though, due to consciousness about fresher soil management techniques like crop rotation pulse farming is getting consideration by the Indian growers. Nevertheless, there quiet persist many hurdles in pulse farming primarily due to the unpredictable pulse prices, exclusion of pulses in PDS etc. The CAGR of production was the highest as compared to the CAGR of area and yield.
