International Conference on Indigenous Languages and Translation Studies(ICILTS -2019)

held on Saturday, 3rd August 2019

at Seminar Hall, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Jain Deemed-to-be-University, Palace Road, Bengaluru.

To commemorate UNESCO’s declaration of 2019 as the International Year of Indigenous Languages, an International Conference on Indigenous Languages and Translation Studies was held at Seminar Hall, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Jain Deemed-to-be-University, Palace Road, Bengaluru. It was a joint venture of its Post Graduate Department of English, K.S. Narasimhaswamy Trust, (regd) Mandya, Karnataka; The Mattoo Center for India Studies, Stony Brook University, New York, USA  and Anusrushti- Abhinava’s Center for Translation.The trilingual conference had two hundred participants, totally hundred papers were presented in Kannada, Hindi and English.
